The SAMC Awards Ceremony: The School of Arts, Media & Communication (SAMC) will hold its inaugural SAMC Awards “A Night of Celebration and Performance” on Sunday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. with a red carpet to welcome guests, hors d’oeuvres, and red carpet photos. Performances will feature current students, faculty, alumni and community members. Awards will be distributed to students from the Departments of Art, Communication & Media, Music, and Theatre & Dance. Awards will also be distributed to community members and alumni. Performances will be featured from each department. The event is free and open to the public. Students will also have the opportunity to win prizes! For more information, call 361.825.2659.
